After approaching Marine Conservation as a topic I knew that I wanted to do something based around web design, but I wanted something a bit more interactive and fun. I looked at some examples of ‘social impact’ games that allowed social issues to be highlighted to the player. I decided to use this idea to raise awareness of Marine Conservation through a game. By making a fun, interactive and engaging social impact game I hope to encourage the player to take action toward Marine Conservation. I decided to use a comic book art style to appeal to a young adult audience.
